Shadows fall（暗降），成立于1995年，是一支美国新浪潮金属乐队，虽然他们的音乐有时候和以哥德堡和瑞典居多的死亡金属非常相象，比如被大家认为In Flames的影子，他们还是在Massachusetts得到了认可。

乐队简介
1996年两位吉他手onathan Donais和Matthew Bachand 创建了乐队，次年夏天，队伍有扩大了，增加了歌手Phil Lebonte，贝斯手Paul Romanko以及鼓手David Germain。1997年年底，Somber Eyes to the Sky作为他们的自己经营自己发行的第一张唱片面试了，在排行榜上获得了良好的成绩，并且被全世界的音乐爱好者接受并认可。在1998年，他们换了另一个位多才多艺的歌手Brian Fair，成为了他们的招牌。
